Localization Updates
Intrastat Integration
What are the enhancements?
Whilst the existing intrastate functionality is maintained, SAP 9.0 brings several updates and new features, including:
- New configuration form (Intrastat -> Configuration Tool)
- New tab added to Item and Business Partner Master Data for Intrastat Relevant Items and Business Partners (Intrastat Settings)
- New Intrastat Declaration Wizard
There are also updates to the importing and filtering options as well as enhanced capabilities to store reported data. All EU localizations are also included.
What are the benefits?
- Overall improved functionality and usability
- Reduces data duplication
- No need for extra addon
Payment Wizard and Correction Invoices
What are the enhancements?
The payment wizard supports your finance and account teams by enabling Correction Invoices to be processed to the bank file. Localizations are available in CZ, SK, HU, PL and RU.
What are the benefits?
- Enables country-specific compliance
- More flexible banking processes
Deferred Tax on Journal Entries
What are the enhancements?
The deferred tax (VAT) can now be posted in a manual Journal Entry document. The updates also include Journal Vouchers, Recurring Postings and Posting / Transaction Templates. The automatic tax calculation has been enhanced and the updates are available in CT, FR, IT, GT, MX, ZA and ES localizations.
What are the benefits?
- Enables country-specific compliance for VAT filing
- More customized accounting processes
Financial Reporting
What are the enhancements?
With SAP Business One Version 9.0 users will be able to prepare reports using specific subsets of G/L accounts (and save the selection criteria). Users are also able to save their selection for different reporting area (e.g. GAAP, IFRS) as well as group reporting and legal requirements.
What are the benefits?
- Flexibility for finance team to save recurrent settings
- Varied range of reports available to meet compliance requirements
G/L Accounts Search Enhancements
What are the enhancements?
The ‘find’ function for selecting G/L accounts has been expanded and the list of G/L accounts will now display in the standard form. Users can also add columns for G/L accounts according to user’s individual needs.
What are the benefits?
- More flexibility in and volume of financial reporting
- Easier search function for relevant G/L accounts
Manual Reconciliation of Down Payment Requests
What are the enhancements?
SAP Version 9.0 will enable more consistency between the standard Down Payment process and the Manual Internal Reconciliation functionality. Additionally all localization needs, including specific tax postings are part of this enhancement.
What are the benefits?
- Greater flexibility within the Down Payment processing function
- More customer specific processing capability
- Enables cross-localization standards compliance
